Wat18085 Lemania Calatrava Ref 280 KO/4 Rose Gold plated steel, with Box

Lemania Calatrava in Rose Gold plated steel. Ca Mid 1960´s.

Case: 35 mm (excluding the original crown) Rose Gold plated steel case with steel case back. Caseback has ref no 280/KO4 on inside. Caseback also have on outside following text “Waterproof – Antimagnetic – Inca block – Swiss Made.

Movement: Lemania Manual Winding 17 jewel. Movments serial number is 1066144 indicating manufacture mid 1960´s. Correct marked Lemania Crown.

Bracelet/ Strap: Letaher strap with Reptile pattern, lightly used, very nice French made. Unmarked gold plated buckle. 18mm between lugs

Features: All correct features as White Dial with Rose Gold raised index with lume at the ends. Rose Gold Dauphine Hands without lume small subsecond hand is also in Rose Gold. Lemania text and Crown printed in black. Nice lugs. Screw-on case back. 

Condition: In overall Very good worn condition. The dial has no damage at all, it is Close to Mint. Very nice index as well as hands. Acrylic glas more or less scratch free. The case is very good with just some light scratches from light wear, steel caseback has more scratches but all very small. Clear markings of reference and serial number. No signs of polishing of the case. The movement runs very well & keeps accurate time. It would very hard to upgrade this one. Lemania Red Leatherette Box in Very good near Mint condition with original tissue paper inside. lemania Golden text on outside.
