Breitling Navitimer 806 from 1966
A simply stunning example of the iconic ‘Twin Jet’ logo 806 Navitimer with gilt gloss black dial. The gloss of the dial is in exceptional condition with gold gilt serif printing. The tritium has taken on a very desirable warm cream patina.
Gold plated Stainless steel case 41 mm in diameter, Signed case back, Signed Breitling crown, Rotating inner Slide Rule bezel. Case number – 10 115 31 manufactured 1966. Case is unpolished.
Venus 178 calibre mechanical manual winding movement, Signed Breitling Watch Ltd, movement is newly serviced and runs perfect.
Dial, Twin Jet logo, Gilt Gloss Black dial with small sub dials, Cream patina tritium markers Golden Hands with Cream patina tritium inserts White slide rule insert in excellent condition

Breitling first introduced the Navitimer in 1952. It was designed specifically for pilots and was an evolution of the Chronomat. The first Navitimer – the 806 – became the official watch of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
