Here is a Very nice, Very Good Condition and all original 18 k Gold Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1959. The 18 k Gold “De Luxe” dial are in a wonderful slightly patinated (cracks in clear paint) condition. The dial has a 18 k golden Omega text, Omega letter and Constellation star, and beveled golden hour markers (printed black text for Automatic, Chrnometre, Officially Cerifyed, Constellation and Calendar, the print has gotten weaker as it usually does on the 18 k gold De Luxe dials). The hour markers at 12 o´clock is doubbled. The 18 k golden dauphine hands are in very good condition. The window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly turning the hands from 21:00 through midnight.
The 18 k golden bezel is in overall very fine condition with no for the naked eye noticeable marks, it is mildly polished and has micros scratches. The 18 k golden case with its 18 k golden caseback and original gold plated crown is in very fine mildly polished or just worn down condition, with the normal small scratches from wear. The lugs also show small scratches from wear. The 18 k golden case back is in very fine condition, with a little worn golden Geneva observatory medallion.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 24 jewels 504 Automatic movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +10 seconds per day, the movement was fully serviced in February 2020.
The watch comes with a original Brown Crocodile pattern leather strap with a gold plated original Omega period buckle, the strap is i unworn condition. Watch comes in it´s original red leather covered wooden box which also is in very good condition also accompanied with the original Chronometre cerificat aswell as Extract from the Omega Archives
Constellations are lovely watches, and this one appeals greatly with its patina and quite rare dial!
