Certina watch with black dial from 1953

Brand: Certina

Case: 34 mm (excluding the original crown) all stainless steel. Screw on stainless steel caseback with case number engraved  “3791880” and reference number “81251” outside”. Inside of has Certina markings. Certina marked Crown.

Movement: Certina 28-15 manual winding movement, 17 jewels.

Bracelet/ Strap: Metal strap which is period and French made. 18 mm between lugs.

Features: Black dial with printed Arabic number with radium to them. Silvered syringe hands with radium, hour hand is missing some of the radium. White printed Certina text as well as INCABLOCK and  Swiss Made as well as subsecond dial.

Condition: In overall well used condition. The dial still in good condition small spots to the laquer.  Acrylic crystal with small scratches. The case is used and has some  scratches and dings. The movement runs, no service history though. Quite nice military style well used watch!

Note: This watch was photographed with high-intensity flash lighting. Which brings out micro/superficial scratches that will not be as visible under natural lighting.
